Welcome to Ardent Maternity ("Ardent Maternity," "we," "us," or "our"), a division of Ardent Medical Supply. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ardentmaternity.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products and services from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Ardent Maternity is a Medicaid-credentialed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplier specializing in breast pumps and postpartum recovery garments, operated by Ardent Medical Supply, located at 1328 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11226.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the parent/legal guardian of the patient for whom equipment is being ordered, to use this Site or place an order.

3. Not Medical Advice

Content on this Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Ardent Maternity does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical recommendations. Always consult your physician, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding your specific medical needs, including which breast pump or postpartum garment is appropriate for you.

4. Insurance & Medicaid Orders

• Certain products may be available at no cost or reduced cost through Medicaid or private insurance, subject to eligibility verification, prescription/order requirements, and payer approval.
• Submitting insurance information authorizes Ardent Maternity to verify benefits and bill your insurer or Medicaid managed care plan on your behalf.
• Coverage, quantity limits, and reimbursement are determined solely by your insurance plan or Medicaid, not by Ardent Maternity. We are not responsible for denied claims, but will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any coverage issues affecting your order.
• You are responsible for any balance not covered by insurance, if applicable, and disclosed to you prior to fulfillment.

5. Orders & Payment

• All product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
• For self-pay/retail orders, payment is due at time of purchase through our Site's payment processor.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, insurance ineligibility, or pricing errors.

6. Shipping

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout or on file with your insurance verification. Ardent Maternity is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or insurance authorization timelines.

7. Returns & Exchanges

• Breast pumps and other used/opened personal-use medical devices are non-returnable and non-refundable once opened or used, in accordance with FDA guidance and hygiene/safety standards for DME products.
• Unopened, unused items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, minus any shipping costs.
• Postpartum garments, belly bands, compression socks, and all other items that make skin contact may only be returned if sealed in original packaging, unworn, unwashed, and with tags/hygiene liner intact.
• Customers should read the sizing charts carefully to ensure proper fit before ordering.
• Defective items covered under manufacturer warranty will be repaired or replaced per the manufacturer's terms.

8. Product Warnings

Breast pumps and related equipment are personal-use medical devices. Do not share pump equipment (other than hospital-grade rental units designed for multi-user use) between users. Follow all manufacturer instructions for cleaning and use.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Ardent Medical Supply / Ardent Maternity or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ardent Maternity is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
